SUSTAINABILITY

D.Nomikos places emphasis on Sustainability by incorporating a range of initiatives in our operations.

We implement an Integrated Crop Management System based on the GLOBALGAP protocol for fresh fruits and vegetables which include:

  • Extensive training of farmers on Good Agricultural Practices
  • Field mapping
  • Field monitoring, including crop history
  • Recycling fertilizer containers (A1:H7)
  • Applying advanced Smart farming technologies, in order to achieve maximum tomato quality and quantity with the least input, rational use of water resources, appropriate nutrients uptake, using climate–soil-plant growth parameters

Traceability

Our products are fully traceable

An automated traceability system is in place. Our system has the ability to trace back to the specific field where the tomatoes were harvested and forward to the final customer and end product (SKU).  Our traceability system guarantees final end user protection.
